Strawberry Sangria

Celebrate your local strawberry harvest and serve this beautiful and sophisticated pink sangria at your summer parties.
Ingredients
- 4 cups (1 L) finely sliced strawberries
- 2 lemons, quartered, seeded and thinly sliced
- 2 oranges, quartered, seeded and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
- Generous pinch salt
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Armagnac or other Brandy
- 2 bottles (750 mL) dry rosé wine
- Ice
Preparation
In punch bowl, stir together strawberries, lemons, oranges, sugar and salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes; stir in Armagnac and wine. Add ice.
Makes 12 to 16 servings.
