Strawberry Sangria

Celebrate your local strawberry harvest and serve this beautiful and sophisticated pink sangria at your summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups  (1 L)  finely sliced strawberries
  • 2 lemons, quartered, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 oranges, quartered, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup  (125 mL)  granulated sugar
  • Generous pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup  (125 mL)  Armagnac or other Brandy
  • 2 bottles (750 mL) dry rosé wine
  • Ice

Preparation

In punch bowl, stir together strawberries, lemons, oranges, sugar and salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes; stir in Armagnac and wine. Add ice.

Makes 12 to 16 servings.
