When pears are in season, nothing will kick-start your morning better than this smoothie.
Tzatziki is a simple dip that goes well with Greek dishes. You can use drained full-fat or 2% yogurt, or homemade Drained Goat's Milk Yogurt (see recipe link at bottom of page) for an even more authentic and tangy flavour. Serve this dip with warmed pita or garlic bread or Deep-Fried Calamari.
Dried baby lima beans have a beautiful white colour and are very buttery, without the starchy texture that we associate with more mature beans. They make an excellent Middle Eastern–style dip that's a wonderful alternative to hummus. Serve with toasted whole grain pita bread.
Main course yogurt recipes
This is a mild vegetarian curry, but if you like it spicier, yogurt helps to balance out the heat on your tongue.
Serve these flavourful kabobs in warmed pitas with sliced tomato, lettuce and the chive yogurt. The kabobs are hot and peppery, so if you prefer them mild, reduce the pepper.
