A Classic Gets Better: Greek-Inspired Cheese Ball Recipe
Turn up the volume and disco dance your heart out as we show you how to make our dang-delicious cheese ball, made with light feta and pressed cottage cheese to keep the calories down.
Update your favourite cheese-ball recipe
• Switch the usual cheddar to smoked cheese, blue cheese, feta, jalapeño jack or a combination.
• Use less of a strong-flavoured cheese, lighten it up with lower-fat cream cheese or substitute pressed cottage cheese for half of the cream cheese.
• Bump up the flavour by blending in some wasabi paste, wasabi powder or chipotle peppers in adobo sauce or by adding an exotic spice blend.
• Instead of the traditional pecans or walnuts, coat the ball with flavoured nuts, almonds, pine nuts or peanuts, crushed crackers or chips or chopped fresh herbs.
