Hooray for the long weekend! I’m having a wee Victoria Day party and I want to have good gluten-free beer on hand for my guests. Should I chill St. Peter’s G-Free beer? To determine if this British ale, which is brewed from sorghum, is good enough to serve, I called in taste testers. Here are their reviews:
“This is the first gluten-free beer I’ve tried and I really like it. It’s exactly the type of beer I like to drink. It has the hoppy taste I enjoy and a nice bitter finish.”
“It has a clean, pure taste. I’ve tried other gluten-free beers and haven’t enjoyed them. But I couldn’t tell that this was gluten-free – I’d have it again.”
“It tastes like a cheaper type of mainstream lager, which is not my ideal beverage. It’s decent for a gluten-free beer, but for a beer in general, it’s nothing special.”
With two positive reviews, it seems that this brew is party-worthy. So, I’ll chill a few bottles, and maybe some La Messagère Gluten-Free beer, too. Will you crack open GF beer this weekend? If so, what kind?
